Alright, good couple days, I made alot of steps. Yesterday I bought a pedometer to see how far I'm walking, and by three oclock I had walked 4,567 steps, and I still had 3 hours of work left. So obviously I'm getting alot of exercise. However, I did not eat out once today, I ate breakfast, and I ate a good dinner, plus drank my water. I just need to find time and energy to do my 20 minutes two more times this week and I'll be set
Also, Rian finally hung up the punch bag so I'vegot that. So progress made, and getting closer. :)

Subject:Wedding dress doesn't fit!!
Time:01:25 pm
When I ordered my dress last december I ordered it 1 size smaller then I am. So when I received the dress this week it is a bit too small. LOL :)

This community couldn't have come at a better time!!

Last night I joined the local gym and I'm going to be working out with a trainer as well as doing the knots program. I worked out with a trainer before and had great results but due to an accident I had to stop.

I'm currently a size 16 and I REALLY want to be a size 12/14 by my Sept 18th wedding date. I know this community is more for toning but if you can send me a few weight loss vibes too I would sure appreciate it. :)

Well, I've missed any opportunity to work out today and I don't think that it will happen at all this week. We're closing on our first house tomorrow, and then we're tackling a refinishing of the wood floors over the weekend. I'm hoping that pulling up carpet and sanding wood floors counts as a workout. Wish us luck on the close. It's been pretty bumpy so far.

-Originally, my plan was to exercise monday, wednesday, friday. But last monday was Eastermonday and that's an official holiday over here in The Netherlands, so me and my boy had a free monday together... and I did not exercise.
-Yesterday was a long day at work and after that I was to tired to do anything, but I did not take elevators but the stairs (I work in The Dutch Parliament, it's a large building with lots of stairs). Today, my heels were too high to do that.
-I planned to jog for 20 minutes this morning, but when I woke up, I found out that the shirt I wanted to wear wasn't ironed yet and preferred ironing above running.
BUT...
*Tomorrow is a new day and a new chance. I'm setting my alarm 45 minutes earlier, the weather forecast says it's going to be a sunny day, no excuses
*My boyfriend is cooking me low fat dinners (during the week he's the master of the kitchen ;-) ) and smaller portions from today on.
*Both of my colleagues that I share the room with started with a diet this week.
*reading about all of you girls that did exercise motivates me!

I allready eat according to a healthy diet and try to keep my calorie intake low. My problem is that I don't exercise. And as long as I don't exercise, those calories will not be burned.

Step away from the scale!!!

I know, I know, it's hard to resist.  I get the urge to check my weight every day.  But the fact of the matter is, we're women (at least I think most of us are...), which means our weights will fluctuate no matter what we do.  In addition, muscle still weighs more than fat, so any new muscle you gain could potentially add a few pounds on the scale.

Try not to weigh yourself any more than once a week (once a month is what they recommend on this plan).

And remember, the measurements you take will be a much more accurate measure of your progress.

Well, last night was really my "start" as far as keeping track of my exercise, etc goes.

Tae Bo for one hour. The advanced tape kicks my butt, but I feel so good after it's over!

Exercise has been the one thing I will skip over - if I don't feel like it. So, hopefully this community will help keep me accountable!

Hi all,
I'm joining a day late, but here I am! I'm Kirsten, I live in San Francisco. I'm getting married in July of 05 and before then I want (I'll admit it!) to lose (edit)some lbs, tone up overall, lose a few dress sizes, and feel better than I have been since I went back to school and discovered that sitting + munching = chunky Kirsten.

That's about all for me. I'll measure today and start my records. I'm off to the gym in a minute. Glad to have some people to be accountable to!

I'm another cross-over from weddingplans. I had been doing good with a community weeklychallenge, but it's sort of fizzled out, so I'm glad to see another supportive group getting started.

my wedding date is Oct. 16, 2004. I'm going to follow the knot's exercise plan, and continue my healthy eating plan which I developed several months ago. notice I don't call it a diet. *shiver* can't stand dieting. my plan is based on the FDA's food pyramid and portion size recommendations. I can go into more detail if anyone's interested.

I've been losing a steady 2lbs per week since I've been back on it (um, 2 weeks). I walked twice last week, and with the start of the knot plan this week my goal is to walk 3 times.

okay, that's enough of an intro. :)

Subject:Day Two
Time:01:39 pm
Well, Jade and I started our new exercise program yesterday...

We woke up a few hours before work and he did some stretching while I did my pilates workout...

Then this morning, we walked the trail around our apartment complex which is actually marked as one mile, one way... So I guess that's somewhere close to a two mile walk (one there and one back).

Feels great to challenge my body a bit!

How is everyone else feeling after just two days?
